Fall Festival Brings Seasonal Fun to The Villages Fort Benning
Residents of The Villages - Fort Benning gathered for a festive afternoon of family fun at our annual Fall Festival, celebrating the season with hands-on activities, local partners, and opportunities to connect with neighbors across the Fort Benning community.
One of the event’s most popular attractions was the North Georgia Wildlife petting zoo, where families had the chance to meet a variety of friendly animals — including Teddy, the baby Highland cow, who quickly became a crowd favorite. Children and adults alike enjoyed the interactive experience, making it a memorable highlight of the day.
The festival also featured classic fall fun, including potato sack races that brought out friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of smiles. These activities created an energetic, family-friendly atmosphere that encouraged participation from all ages.
Local home-based business (HBB) vendors added to the experience by showcasing their products and services, giving residents the opportunity to support fellow Fort Benning neighbors while exploring unique offerings within the community.
Thanks to support from our local Lowe’s, families were also able to take home a free pumpkin, adding a special seasonal touch and extending the Fall Festival fun beyond the event itself.
Community events like the Fall Festival reflect the commitment of The Villages - Fort Benning to creating meaningful experiences that bring residents together and strengthen connections at Fort Benning. We’re grateful to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make this event such a success.
