  • Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper, Secretary of the Army Ryan D. McCarthy, Acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas B. Modly and Secretary of the Air Force Barbara M. Barrett signed the Military Housing Privatization Initiative Tenant Bill of Rights Feb. 25 and a revised version effective Aug 1.

    The Villages at Fort Moore has implemented all of the TBORs. The Bill of Rights commits the Department of Defense to ensure privatized housing tenants receive quality housing and fair treatment from the Military Housing Privatization Initiative project owners that operate and maintain privatized housing.     *Michaels currently has only four of the seven years of maintenance history available due to a property management software transfer that occurred a few years ago.  We are working to obtain the remaining three years of data and anticipate having an update to our residents soon.
